The main idea about this article is to teach a lesson for Eastern students to learn about table manners through the setting, web searching and discussing at the end. It's a 2 hours lesson for intermediate to high-intermediate level students.
I like the first part to have studnets set the table, but maybe the best way is to bring them to the real situation that is going to the restaurant and have a meal. Maybe have a chat about the table manners after the meal.
The internet part is quite good as well. Students can have a detailed knowledge about the western table mannes and compare with thier own country table manners.
This reminds me of being studying in England Language center, we not only talk about table manners but also the gestures. There are so many to teach since the culture difference between western and eastern countries are so wide.
